Since Im always driving, it would be very helpful to be able to loop predetermined intervals or notes so you could do the exercises without having to use the actual iPhone (so I could do my ear training with the car stereo, hands free). It would also come in handy for going to sleep and trying to do your ear training subconsciously while sleeping, in order to cement those elusive notes, chords, or intervals into your brain. That would put this app MILES AHEAD or anything similar. The only other way to do this is to record your own mp3 tracks and loop them on your player. But thats very time consuming for some people...please include this looping function in the next update!!!

As a guitarist I really enjoy training my ear with guitar voicings!!! Request: Adjustable time limit or exercise speed regulator to be able to challenge the recognition speed. Even without this feature, this app is already great!

I was training for perfect pitch. And I heard the app played an F2 so I pressed on F2 for the answer. But the app said that I was wrong and indicated that the correct answer was E2. I thought it was weird. I went to the piano and checked. I was right! The app labeled the pitch incorrectly. All the notes in the lower range shifted up or down a half step! I emailed the developer and have not heard anything from them. This app was sold to help people train for perfect pitch. Not only that it does not help but it confuse and distort your perception and destroys the skills you have. I want my money back!!!!!!

This is probably my favorite ear training app. . . and Ive tried a lot of them. VERY nice! Effective and user-friendly.

Im a pro musician 30+years. The "perfect pitch note section" is exactly what I was looking for. Intuitive, well laid out, and customizable. Brilliant work. After a month of regular use I can actually wake up in the morning and sing a Eb. Ive never had the ability to remember a pitch through the night so this is insane. Thank you for this app! One suggestion: The "melody" section in the perfect pitch category is too easy because you give the name of the first pitch. Please consider giving no clues in the melody section of your next version. Thanks so much!

Ive always had good ears, but the refinement has been a struggle. This app is like crack for me. As a jazz musician especially, Im excited to see that I can work towards immediately recognizing more complex harmonic structure, and the intervalic practice is terrific! After only a few days with this app (admittedly using it kind of a lot, but still), Im already becoming more comfortable picking notes out of thin air. Maybe Ive been on the cusp of perfect pitch, but I didnt realize it. This app might just push me over the edge, and into perfect pitch land. Even if it doesnt, Im certainly better off for having discovered it! Im sharing this with all my colleagues, and especially with my students. Its set up so that you can choose EXACTLY what you want to work on. Even just a single note, scale, or interval. Really a fantastic product. I cant say enough about it!

Ive been into music all my life but have always felt a bit embarrassed that I couldnt recognize the keys of songs. This app is great a teaching you how to listen. Plus its free. You cant beat that!

This app is so useful for my ear training courses. I like how I can center it around my weak areas. I would like to suggest adding harmonic dictation with inversions so that it can be a complete ear training app, and maybe in the future begin adding rhythmic dictation. Overall this is a great app!

The only thing keeping this app from 5 stars is there seems to be an issue with some of the chords not matching up using the guitar sounds. That needs to be fixed. Other than that, this app is fantastic.
